Lembongan Mushroom Bay accommodation

I am looking to book a place for family of 4 for 3 nights in June on Mushroom Bay. I would like a place on the beach.

This is what I found so far:

- Hai Tide Beach Resort (275 USD per night for garden room, cheaper on Agoda)

- MolaMola House (114 USD per night on booking.com)

- Lumbung Bali Huts (54 USD per night on Agoda)

- Tanis Beach Resort (70 USD per night on Expedia)

The reason I listed the booking site is I never used Agoda or Booking.com. Also, the prices vary quite a bit between hotels, especially Hai Tide is on the high side. I am not sure if it is warranted when there are much cheaper alternatives.

Please let me know if you know about these hotels or have any other suggestions.

Ubud accommodation

Looking for a place to stay for 3 nights in Ubud. Our plan is to go around, visit nearby places on a tour every day, not stay and lounge at the hotel. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens. So, we are looking for a nice place but not a special, honeymoon hotel. The more local feel they, the better. I see the hotel rates vary widely in the area.

This is my list so far:

Bisma Eight
Alaya Suites
AnandaDara
The Ning Resort
Komenaka at Monkey Forest
Bali Magical Brand New Villas Ubud
Alaya Private Estate at Damara Village
The Ning Resort

I am a little hesitant Bisma Eight and Alaya Suites fit what we are looking for. Any comments or suggestions about the list or any other hotels/villas that may fit the bill?

Again, looking for a nice place we can stay while touring nearby areas in Ubud not a destination resort.

We are going to be in Ubud this June. We are going to spend time in Lembongan and Nusa Dua afterwards. Is Amed worth taking a detour between Ubud and Lembongan? We are not going to do scuba if we go, probably kayaking, snorkeling and some rest after Ubud.

Hello All,

We'll be in Bali for 15 days in June (counting arrival and departure days). We are a family of 4 with two 15 year old teens.

Here is my itinerary currently. Please let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions. Also any lodging recommendations would be appreciated.

I should add we are looking for a family experience, no surfing, diving or nightlife. We value nice beaches with swimmable, clear water over a lively beach as I seem to understand the ones on the west side are.

Thanks!

Day 1 - Arrive in the afternoon, transfer to Ubud

Day 2 - Monkey Forest, Tegalang, Tirta Empul, Tibumana Waterfall, Lampo Waterfalls

Day 3 - Ulun Danu Baratan and Jatiluwih

Day 4 - Mount Batur with jeep (worried about the hike)

Day 5 - Lempuyang, Tirta Ganga, Mother Temple of Besakih, transfer to Amed

Day 6 and 7 - relax in Amed

Day 8-10 - Lembongan

Day 11-15 - Nusa Dua resort, visit Tanah Lot and Kecak Dance from here, also sights in Uluwatu. Lleave at midnight from Nusa Dua to DPS
