Discussion: Knicks have 3 top 10 players
OF TEAMS STILL IN THE PLAYOFFS (BASED OFF PLAYOFF PERFORMANCE SO FAR): Knicks have 3 top 10 players.
Behind Cade and Wemby, KAT has been the third best player in these playoffs. (Leads in win shares, incredibly efficient, low turnover, top 10 in defense, offense and net rating.)
Behind Shai and Embiid, Brunson has been the 6th best player (high volume scoring, low turnover, just winning.)
OG can therefore be anywhere from 7th-10th depending on how you look at it. Obviously wouldn’t be able to lead a team but has been too 10 in the league in terms of doing what he’s meant to do. Incredibly efficient, great defender, can’t really do much more.
Obviously players on teams like the Thunder haven’t had an opportunity to show how they are cause they have been winning so easily. Nonetheless, I feel very, very confident for the eastern conference finals, a bit less so for the actual finals (if we make it) Thunder look terrifying.
