I am a first year PhD student in the biosciences who received their 3rd B in a class (granted it was an 88% so 2 off from being an A) but I have no idea how much grades factor Into careers and am feeling very defeated. I chose to take classes that are outside of my skill set and comfort level, and I learned a lot but feeling a bit regretful, I am also coming off of a genetics oral exam that was rough to say the least, thank you!
