I was flying last Saturday from Santiago to Miami and as Iw as entering the walkway boarding in group 1 I get a notice that I had a seat change. I reboot my ticket on my phone to see it is 5C. I go to the premium economy area and I only see seats starting with 6. Confused I finally realized that I had been upgraded to Business Class --Flagship with the lay flat seats, ice cream sundaes with realy hard cold frozen not slushy ice cream! I was quite content to sleep in my Economy seat. I had appied a System Wide Upgrade but told the lady I was happy with my seat. I was suffering from bronchits so I was super thankful for the well timed upgrade. I praised God! Thanked Him for the upgrade and I fell asleep in the seat within 5 minutes. The amazing steward Kerry was so kind as to gently wake me to see what I wanted for dinner. I was happy to get the steak. I am so thankful for that trip I had plenty of room and although I did not chaneg into the jammies I enjoyed a movie when I could keep my eyes open and slept and was able to nebulize in privacy while we flew. I have to admit, I really didn't miss the window seat. It can and does happen.
