Outreach strategies for advertisers?
I'm looking for advertisers currently for my newsletter (2.4k subscribers, 46% open rate, 5% CTR) and I've been doing a lot of outbound emails to companies directly. I've tried reaching out to marketing managers on LinkedIn as well and haven't had a lot of success.
How do you go about to do cold outreach to potential advertisers? Moreover, what tool(s) are out there to ease this process? It's a time sink on my end - go to their website, track down an email, find someone on LinkedIn, send them a message. It's a painful process and I use SponsorGap to help with the end-to-end cold outreach process, but I haven't had a lot of success and it's still a time sink.
I'm primarily targeting small to mid-size SaaS companies - specifically companies that build things that software developers would use (startups are also a good candidate). Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I feel extremely stuck.
