Hello! For several years now my gyn has been trying many different types of HRT (even cutting the patch into 1/4) for me but they all make me mentally nuts. She has told me that for what ever reason my body does not tolerate estrogen. Menopause is making me feel like I am a shell of what I used to be....osteoporosis, anxiety depression, severe knee pain, dry skin, thinning hair, not sleeping and so on. WHY can't I tolerate estrogen?? She has now talked about trying Lo Lo Estrin birth control pill with 10 micrograms of estrogen/progesterone to see if I can tolerate that. Has anyone ever tried this method vs. HRT and tolerated it well? Any advice would be helpful.
