Hello! So, everything was so perfect after surgery (4MPO), with occasional soreness and tiredness here and there. I got everything removed except the ovaries, to not go to menopause abruptly, despite being 45 and already in perimenopause.

About a month ago I started waking up in the middle of the night to pee, and feeling some kind of severe ovulation pain. The pain stayed, and started radiating to the back and groin, exactly as I felt before, on the same side as always. I was never diagnosed with endo, just severe adenomyosis. But I started worrying when the pathology identified endo in the tubes.

I went to my GP, and she was categorical: certainly endometriosis and you gotta remove the ovaries. I had an ultrasound Friday and the images are pretty scary. I am waiting for my GP to go back to me.

I am terrified with the possibility of going through surgery again, but because depression hormonal therapy is out of the table - I tried and became suicidal in 3 months. Has anyone here had this experience? TIA!
