My family has COX internet with the unlimited data package and I wanted to remove the unlimited data from our account. Thinking it would be easy to do this through live chat, we entered into a 22 minute conversation with a agent that refused to remove the package. They kept asking how many people live at our address and what type of traffic do they do. We reminded them they don't need to know that, just please help us remove the unlimited data. He would not do it, even after I spent 10 minutes begging him to either remove it or tell me where I could do it myself. This has to be the worst customer engagement I've ever seen, blatantly refusing to help me and asking again and again about who I live with. If you can avoid COX, do so!
