There's a room in my house with “rosebud“ textured ceilings. I think I want to put wall paper on that ceiling. would it be delusional of me to try and sand it down flat and then put wallpaper over top of it? Or would I just need to have the ceilings replaced? I’m trying to avoid putting more drywall over the texture.

If that is too far-fetched, then my backup plan would be to just paint the ceiling. Would I be in the clear to just paint over the texture with whatever color I please?

Just bought a house with carpet on the stairs and I removed the carpet and plan on painting the stairs. However, there are gaps on the sides of some of the steps and they don’t go all the way to the wall. None are bigger than a quarter inch. What would be my best approach at closing those gaps? I’m thinking caulk, but idk what type to buy.

This may or may not be the best place to ask this, but Google wasn't much help. I was at a music festival the other day, and this lady was selling deer skulls that she had customized (pictured). I was hoping someone would be able to help me figure out how she did it. It isn't paint. It looks like she somehow expoxied or glued over these designs to adhere them to the skulls. Does anyone know what this is called and how to do it?
