People who went to japan for studies how was your experience?

I (17F) am planning to go to japan for my undergrad in economics

•Yes im willing to learn the language

•Yes i know the work culture is bad there ,I've done my share of research and would try to avoid black companies

I would do my ug courses in english and learn japanese on the side , Ug courses length is 4 years in japan and that'll give me enough time to reach N2 atleast

I understand the language barrier that'll come with it but realistically other countries have their own problems like being oversaturated, too expensive or not giving pr

I would want to settle in the country i studied in so Japan seemed like a good option as not many international students choose it due to the language barrier

I also know the racism that I'll have to face along with all this and I'm still ready to give it a shot

Is it a dumb move? I don't know. Am i still willing to give it a shot? Absolutely.

If you are living in japan or have lived in japan please share your experience, ill be very grateful.. also im a very extroverted person and ive heard people say japanese people are introverted (maybe a stereotype im sorry) , how did you guys form a social circle?

I havent painted a picture perfect image of japan in my head and im down to deal with the problems it'll come with please dont come after me

How conservative is malaysia

Im planning to move to Malaysia for my undergrad and im moving from India

One of my many reasons to move is having been brought up in a conservative surrounding which has made me dislike it in general now

I've tried to do my share of research about how conservative malaysia is in terms of clothing (shorts, tank tops , halter necks , tube tops yk what i mean)

Before coming to a conclusion i wanted to be sure and ask the people instead of looking at articles or videos online

Due to me being brought up in conservative surroundings ive grown to a rebel , i want to know how's the night life (clubbing or outings in general)

I also have a piercing (eyebrow and earlob) , a tattoo on my shoulder and dyed hair.. i know this is all too much and i do not wish to be entitled

I would dress appropriately in cultural spots or places that requires me to and i dont mind that

Also on a scale of 1 to 10 how likely am i to face racism in malaysia as an indian student
