On the verge of buying my first GMC. Currently towing a 4000lb boat with a 2012 Sequoia (about 25 boat trips per year ranging from 2 to 120 miles). Possibility of upgrading to a heavier boat (8000-10000lb) in a few years.
Looking to replace my Toyota SUV with a 2026 Sierra 1500 3.0L Duramax with max tow, in SLT or Elevation trim.
I don’t think I’ll need the 6.6L diesel or HD or an off-road suspension.
Besides max tow, are there any other must have options? Thanks in advance for any advice.
