Is it worth trying myself, a professional job, or replacement?

I think I'm going to buy griots polishing tool anyway so if theres a pad and product you recommend for the job let me know if I should try. It is so hard to see the road in direct sun like this. I saw an older post someone said to check with insurance for replacement which I'll look into as well.
