Hi,

I had 6kw solar (23 panels) installed about 5 years back with small inverter with no battery.

I had installed Fox ESS CQ6 48kwh Battery with 10Kw H3 Smart inverter this week. The existing inverter untouched. The solar input goes into existing small inverter first then to house / battery.

With the larger battery capacity, is it recommended to add more solar panels or upgrade all the panels by replacing the old ones. I’m expecting to bring the solar generation somewhere 13-15kw and connect straight to new inverter. Roof got space to do this.

Also, what’s the expected cost with the above proposed work? Located in NSW 2765. Happy to be contacted over chat for any quote related discussion.
