Xplorite Demo Review

Xplorite Demo Review

I played through the Xplorite demo and then made a deep dive into analyzing my experience. Hopefully you guys like it! Certainly open to feedback on how I can improve these types of reviews moving forward. Thanks very much for watching!

Have you played the demo yourself? What were your thoughts? Will you be checking out the full release?

DR Voice Isolation vs. NVIDIA Broadcast Noise Removal

Howdy!

My question is simple: does anyone have experience using both of these tools? Which seems to work better? I recently used NVIDIA Broadcast Noise Removal for the first time and it generally worked well but it also had numerous instances where it either cut off the start of my speaking or temporarily degraded the quality of my voice. As such, I had to re-record a couple dozen clips (140 min recording) of my voice.

I have the free version of DR currently so I don't have access to Voice Isolation to make my own comparison. Hence my question to anyone who has experience with both and can compare them for me.

I dialed back the "strength" of NB Noise Removal in hopes that on my next recording the issues wouldn't occur anymore. But if DR Voice Isolation is dramatically better, I would be interested in saving up and eventually purchasing DR Studio so that I can have access to Voice Isolation. That said, I don't want to purchase the Studio version just to end up saying "eh, this is basically the same quality as what I had for free with NVIDIA Broadcast."

What I'm trying to do is eliminate controller click noises from infiltrating my voice recordings during gaming sessions.

If there is a free/cheap third-party DR plugin that would potentially be an alternative, I would also be interested in hearing about that!

Thank you for any guidance!

Thanks!

Edit: When I reopened DR A3 and A4 were magically gone from the timeline, so I have no idea what the solution is other than to quit and reopen (since I didn't get to try the suggestions in the replies). Thanks anyway everyone!
