Looking to backpack John Muir as a beginner - looking for recommendations!

Hello!

I am been camping and hiking at yosemite for years and am looking for some
beginner friendly trails. Maybe for one night or two nights! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Completed the Subway!

TY for everyone who gave advice over the last week! This was the best hike i’ve ever been on. Truly have never felt so connected to nature.

The hike back and up did absolutely suck though. I started the hike at 7 am and was done by 2 pm. Crazy i saw some people beginning the hike while i was finishing it. Please come prepared with the shoes and neoprene socks. The sooner you’re able to make peace with the fact that you’ll get wet the better! Do not do this hike if you can not psychically pull yourself up or have difficulty with balance. The trail requires a lot of physical work but it is really worth it if you know what you’re getting yourself into.

Hi! I got the permit for both but they’re on the same day but only have time for one since the permit for angels landing is in the morning. What would you do if you had the choice?

Leaning more toward the subway bc of less crowds and may be the only time i’m able to do it when im out there

EDIT: was able to snag a permit for a different day for the subway - looks like i’ll be able to do both!
