I was doing Uber Eats in Milwaukee Wisconsin tonight and saw this at a KFC while in the drive through.
It says "pass out the order wrong, 30 min out of your check", signed "James Avery".
Is this legal? It feels like a manager making a server pay for a dine and dash, or requiring they arrive 10 minutes prior to clocking in.
If it is wage theft, are there bodies I can report it to?
Editing to add question; can I report it even though I'm not an employee?
