I feel so dumb and useless at work

(Sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my first language)

I am an 18-year-old girl studying tourism and, as a part of my self-searching to figure out what I want to do, I applied to an airport to work as a part-time student during the holidays.

I did five or six days of theoretical learning, then maybe 1 or 2 months later, they called me back to do five days of real training. The day before my first day at work, I tried to remember and study again as much as I could so I would not appear "dumb," but it failed me, unfortunately...

On my first day, I didn’t know what country was written as TIA and got scolded for not knowing every code (in front of customers! I was mortified). Then, a man at the gate asked for my name which I happily gave him because I thought that a person was finally being nice to me but turns out I can not ever give my name to a passenger and my "boss" scolded me again because that man (who turns was drunk flirting) was now refusing to board the plane without me. She told me I should know better and study the protocol more...

These are just examples to say that I was in a state of mind where everything I didn't remember would be explained to me again and then I could write it down and remember it but I was expected to know it before coming.

I feel so bad because the theoretical part is HUGE, and I feel like I'm the only one who thinks of it that way. The other students, who studied with me, don't seem to have any problem while each time I try to ask my "boss" a question or answers hers, she looks at me and sighs like I am a hopeless idiot.

I can't quit my job because I have a contract, but God, I wish I could because I just want to cry each time I see people who actually work at that airport.

I really enjoy all the airport stuff I have to do, but the stress and responsibilities that come with it are just too much.

Maybe I'm too immature or not experienced enough to know this is normal? Please tell me if anyone has felt the same or worked in the airport. This would help me very much, thank you.
