Feels we're going down the wrong path

Im a tech guy and i'm just looking at the path we are heading down and I can't help but be filled with some since of dread. Sam Altman has truly covered almost all his bases, and it's not that I don't feel like I CAN do anything, it's more so that I can't do it fast enough. The guy has so much money and power that he can simultaneously release multiple things while racing toward AGI. I'm not saying that it will or won't exist. However, I have to face the fact that I am a broke college student and I might be too late to stop him, do to my position in society. It's incredibly frustrating and I don't know what to do. Not only does the guy own ChatGPT, but he also owns World.

If that dosen't click for you. He is essentially betting on owning the 2 most powerful companies in the world. ChatGPT is betting on becoming AGI (artificial general intelligence), and World is a Crypto coin that's used to verify who's human. However, the problem is Crypto was the only thing that could have provided a buffer against AGI. Now that he has released World and has all the money in the world, I am certain he will move into what my project was supposed to be, and since he is a corpo puppet, the potential saving grace of the world, is literally in the hands of corporations. Its basically going to look like feudilism, however the lord no longer need the serfs/peasants, but still kinda just keep them around on welfare. Welfare is cool when its for people that are struggling, but when it's majority of us, that's a problem.

It dosent even seem like that many care either, they let the guy who aims to create the problem, sell the solution, which is fine, but now most power is planned to be concentrated in the hands of the elite few, and this time, i'm afraid there will be no more revolutions. The guy who plans to take the ability for us to make a living for ourselves is making us codependent on something we don't even own, basically putting us on life support. Im so over it man. I'll still try, but I don't even know anymore. Its just like people willingly signed up to be at their mercy. I hate it here man.

Please Don't Give up...

There is a lot of losers on here. I know it's hard and it's frustrating, but please just stop man. I'm tired. Stop trying to tell people to quit because YOU failed. It's pathetic, the odds are low, but there are billions of people on earth, to think NONE have made a dime with vibe coding is a logical fallacy. Keep going, I don't care if you failed, I don't care if someone said something mean to you. This is not success pron, you most likely WILL fail. Use everything to you advantage, take it seriously, this IS NOT a get rich quick scheme, you are literally just a tech founder. Congrats! You feel what a techie felt back in 2012-2016 during the app store boom. Its the same thing. Just keep getting better. I'm obviously talking to the people who WANT it, but tbh, those people were going to keep going anyway and probaly don't need to see this message.

It just seems like alot of people want to sabotage the competition with some type of scarcity mindset. Don't let these guys get in the way. Even if it's not me who succeeds, i'm not a loser, I want one of you to win. The Silicon Valley guys have been running the show for 20 years about, we trusted them and look where we are at... They are actively speed running towards displacing most of us. I'd rather a new wave a tech founders who actually have lived outside of the Silicon Valley circle jerk/bubble. Actual in touch humans.

I know I am probaly going to get downvoted for "being positive" and trying to encourage people to follow their dreams. But bro, especially if you are in college, you are most likely living off of debt and working minimum wage anyway, what's the harm in trying if you love it?

I'm just saying, maybe it's best not to listen to people on reddit who try to encourage you to give up, we don't know you or your situation and we easily seem to project our own sorry situation. The people who are making moves and are succeeding most likely AREN'T on reddit, seeing as they have succeeded and are running a business, just keep that in mind. This sub is kinda turning into a Decelerator, it's not really a good healthy place to foster a community of driven individuals, if you have an idea and are seeing traction, I urge you to seek out community in person via accelerators or other apps/alts because this sub has kinda gone downhill...
