Hi everyone, I (35M) am seeking career advice based in Karachi. I have a BS in Physics and 3 years of teaching experience. I realized teaching isn't for me (struggled with classroom management).

After that, I worked as a Sales Coordinator at a consultancy company for 3.5 years. Following my father's passing, I took a career break to handle family matters and have recently enrolled in an MPhil in Physics to pivot into research.

My Goal: Get into Material Science R&D, Technical Sales, or Data Analytics.

Current Skills:

• BS Physics & MPhil ongoing.
• Python (proficient).
• SQL (self-learning).
• Density Functional Theory (DFT) - working on it.

The Problem: I am struggling to find an office job in Karachi that fits my profile. [1]

• How can I highlight my 3.5 years of sales coordination with my technical physics background to get into Technical Sales?
• What is the best way to leverage my Python/DFT skills for Data Analyst or R&D roles in the current job market?
• Are there specific industries in Karachi (manufacturing, materials, etc.) I should focus on?
