Im planning on coming to Guelph next year to study biomedical sciences and im very excited since ive visited the campus and really like it. However ive been hearing that the first year is difficult. Im not sure if its because of transitioning into univeristy or if the classes are actually hard. I’m mainly worried about chemistry and physics since ive seen people say they ended up with grades in the 60s or lower. I want to keep a high GPA for grad school, so im nervous that first year could make that really difficult.

Are there any current Biomed students who could share their experiences or advice? How manageable is the workload if you stay organized? Id also love to hear any pros/cons of the program and what you like most about it!
