Old levels: Hemoglobin 96. Ferritin 3. Iron pills Oct to April. Did blood test on April 12. Follow up on April 21. New levels: Hemoglobin 98. Ferritin 4. Iron has been low all my life from heavy periods. He offered to send request to get an iron infusion at hospital for free. Said it would be 3 months wait. Hospital called April 24 to book IV for April 25! Legit 3 days it took! Wow. Just had my 2nd dose yesterday. I noticed my stomach being flatter? Less of a crazy appetite. I mean, its there. But I'm just eating when hungry, when usually I eat when bored or feeling super tired. I havent felt nauseous. I just feel extremely tired & sore. I've heard my metabolism will improve & weight loss easier? I've been struggling to lose weight recently. Was 217lbs down to 155 & for some reason, even eating the same as I did at 155, I got up to 175. Hoping something will change.
