Hot take: Peeling is losing you games
Before I say anything, hear me out.. I think you should be peeling regardless of your character or role
different hero’s should peel to different extents but EVERYONE should peel
However, it boils my blood when we’re playing against a team of divers and my team spends the whole game peeling and not taking space
what’s the point of peeling if were stuck in spawn and can’t reach the objective?
that’s why I feel like playing The Thing for example isn’t always the best idea because you’re not creating space you're simply annoying the diver enough for them to leave, wait their cooldowns and come back while you remain stuck in spawn hugging the supports
players need to learn that countering dive isn’t simply by peeling but a mix of peeling and pushing otherwise you’d be playing right into their hands
thats why I love playing Hulk, I can apply pressure and help my back line with my bubbles
so yeah, having 5 people turn around every time because your supports are being dove without applying pressure to the enemy supports is a sure way to lose the game in spawn
(Ps. Support players, please move closer to the team when they’re diving you so its easier to help you and I don’t have to give up even more space trying to peel)
