Hi! I’m going to be attending a PsyD program in Chicago in the fall and I’m wondering what types of bags people think are useful? Especially when I start seeing clients, I feel like it’s unprofessional to have a backpack. So is it best to have a nice looking shoulder bag? Or a fancier looking backpack? I’ll be in the city, so I’ll need to lug my stuff around on public transit and walking far distances and also need it to be not super easy to pickpocket. Any advice?

And while we’re at it, if anyone has any other suggestions of supplies/things they found helpful for a PsyD program or grad school in general I’d be happy to hear it! Thanks!
