A US Nationals coach out of St. Louis at11u AA/AAA tournament today. Third base coach yelling at ump that if catcher has to slide to catch it it’s not a strike. A grandfather responded, “it depends where the catcher sits up at”. Nationals coach looked at me and said, “can you tell your parents to quit chirping or they will be in a world of hurt after the game “. I asked, what does that mean? He said, “take it any way you want to.”
Is this a common for a coaches behavior?
