Well, there goes my last fck to give

Had surgery last week. Let my DSP know a month prior so there weren’t any surprises. Doctor says healing process is different for everyone. Was expected to be good to go back to work today. Can barely stand up. Called surgeon team, they said stay home. Text DSP yesterday morning when I realized this is not going to be as quick as expected. No response.

I wake up today to a text about whether or not I still have a job. Said I missed too many days. (Been here for three months and only missed a day, which was the day of my surgery). I ask if I can rescue so I’m not lifting too much but can still come in. Not good enough.

Texted me again asking if I was coming in, I said no. Was told position is under review. I’m over it, Boss.

And if anyone is wondering, I had a laparoscopy, which is a same day surgery that allows you to go back to normal activities after a day or two. Unless you’re working in a labor position. It’s recommended I don’t lift anything over 10lbs for a week. And I was still going to go in despite this.

Bills, job security and unemployment being where it’s at and all, wasn’t trying to lose my job.

But after today, idc anymore.

For anybody working today, be safe out there.

One day post op after a laparoscopy. I feel like sugar honey iced tea lol. I had an ultrasound last year. Said a mild case of adenomyosis. For whatever reason, they decided “let’s check for endo!” (No endo found, surprise, surprise). I go for my post op appointment in two weeks. What do I tell them? I’m tired of dealing with these symptoms of cramps and prolonged bleeding and pain during intercourse. The bloating!! Ugh!! Was the laparoscopy one of those “just in case” scenarios to rule it out??

Everything came back normal besides a tiny fibroid and a thin layer of film attaching itself to my left ovary (that they cut). I just want answers!

Every stand up, they remind us taking a 30 minute lunch puts us 30 minutes behind. “It’s optional” they said but they don’t want us taking it. “If you’re not one of the top performers, you shouldn’t take your lunch” Well I guess I should learn how to fly during these rural routes and 5-8 minute gaps between houses so I can cut my time in half and make it back faster than the 48 minutes it takes to get back to the station.

Anyway, good morning yall. It’s raining and I’m almost done with my week. Be safe out there.

Edit: DOT certified but not trained on step yet.
