Not feeling good after my workout
This year I decided to start working out so I can change my body, be more toned out and just feel better. However, because the gym prices in my area are not very attractive and I'm still a poor little student, I decided to invest in elastic bands so I can work out at home using my own body weight, plus the resistance weight provided by the bands in order to start out and eventually move into a gym when I'll have the money.
It's been quite some time and all I can say is that I don't think I like this. I can't really pinpoint what is going wrong so instead of acceptiong defeat, I'll just seach for answers.
I feel like I didn't evolve at all, that I'm even performing worse than before and that workouts are getting harder. I'm still doing the same routine since the beginning and it is getting harder by the day... I also don't feel good after workout out, I'm out of breath, my heart is racing, my body is sore, I feel like I'm panicking or that I'm in a life or death situation. The adrenaline is nowhere to be found. Is this the pump everyone is talking about?
Elastics are also pretty annoying since I'm trying to adapt exarcices so that I do the gym equivalent. I'm getting frustrated mid set because I don't feel anything. I pull on those bands just to feel something but nothing is there. I feel like legs are easier to train than upper body and I think that, paradoxically, I've been liking leg days more than pull or push days.
I know you might think it's my diet, but I feel like I've been doing quite well. It's been some time since I cut out on sugars completely and most of my meals are full of nutrients. However, I'm not tracking anything at all because I find it extremely hard since I'm eating in my university cantine (where we don't get acces to nutritional values and stuff like that).
Should I just give up and try to find another activity? But which activity would give me the same toned body I'm dreaming of?
I've never been passionate about sports so this is quite hard for me.
