The song started with acoustic guitar only, male vocals. Then roughly halfway through the drums start and electric guitar for the rest of the song. Not county music at all, it was accustic rock. The lyrics sang about running away from this stupid small town, driving under street lights. The overall tone of the song was somber, but felt powerful to me as a teenager. The song had to have come out during or before 2010- I remember listening to it on my ipod on the school bus before having my driver's license. I feel the song was newer at the time, so probably 2008-2010 release. Im pretty sure it was on the bands first debut album, maybe the 2nd to last or last song on the album. Overall the band was rock in genre, this song might have been the only one on that album with acoustic guitar in it. I don't know if the band ever went on to release more albums or not. I remember being obsessed with this song and lonely train from black stone cherry at the same time, so that time frame. I've been searching for two years and no combination of Google search has gotten me there.
