5w3d after FET - Positive strips but Digital Error? Confused and looking for experiences.
Hi everyone,
My wife and I had a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) of a 5-day embryo on April 24th. We are currently at 5 weeks and 3 days.
We did a strip test on May 7th (13dp5dt) and it was a clear pink positive. However, we just tried a Clearblue Digital Ultra Early and it gave us the booklet/error icon.
We’ve had some anxiety because her early symptoms (mild cramping) have mostly disappeared, and now she only has breast aches—no nausea yet. We have our first ultrasound scheduled at Clinic for the 28th (which will be 7w3d).
Has anyone else had a digital test fail or show an error this late (Week 5)? Could this be the "Hook Effect" or just a bad test? Also, did anyone else have their symptoms "vanish" around week 5 only to have a successful 7-week scan?
Now my wife is too nervous that she does not want to try any test before Ultrasound .
Looking for some real-world experiences to help us stay sane until our scan. Thank you!
