Hiya!

I am searching for a specific story but my memory is that of a goldfish and I might be incorrectly recalling some details but to the best of my ability:

• it involved an older (?) female researcher or observer
• through the logs, she notes or communicates with an entity and they end up almost being friendly?
• at once point, she notes that she is suffering from a terminal illness
• the logs end with the researcher dying or disappearing, and it may be implied that she let the entity escape containment, or that the entity took her away

I could be entirely incorrect that this was NOT an SCP, but do let me know if this sounds familiar!!
