Relative newbie here. I've had a little success in the past with baking, but I've hit a bit of a brick wall with this one.
When I try to create a normal map from this window model, it only picks up the broader frame; only if I use a Weighted Normal modifier does it pick up the finer window detail, but the detail on the map becomes rounded, almost bloated, which I don't want. I have tried Keep Sharp, and adjusting the strength, but they just create a map with the broader frame only.
The window was built with a Mirror and two Array modifiers; the merged mesh has a Triangulation modifier applied and, of course, the Weighted Normal mod.
I've tried pretty much every other permutation of settings with no joy.
Any advice would be appreciated!
