An ancient Maya molar, approximately 1,000 years old, featuring a jadeite inlay in its chewing surface. While the Maya often inlaid stones for aesthetic and social status reasons, this molar's location suggests a potential therapeutic use, possibly to fill a cavity.

The jade stones were secured with a robust, natural cement composed of plant resin and other materials that has remained intact for centuries. The specimen is currently housed at the Popol Vuh Museum in Guatemala.
