Internship guidance for rural folks
Good afternoon everyone, been reading people's experiences for awhile now but now I'm looking for guidance myself. Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Security and Risk Analysis and need an internship to graduate. I've applied to a bunch of remote roles with nothing back, not even a denial. I feel like I'm extremely limited because I'm in a very rural area in the Midwest and feel my options are limited in person which I'm not opposed to doing. For living in a rural area, what experiences have you had? Did you just have to bite the bullet and drive extreme distances for an internship opportunity or should I be looking for something in particular?
