Hi!

Gnome 49 is available in ~arch since last week

So, of course I updated my system...

Oh boy, what have I done! I spent the week trying to fix stuff here and there and even contempled the switch to another windows manager. But, eventually, I managed to fix almost everything.

The one thing I cannot wrap my head around, is the custom keyboard shortcuts for lauching apps. Back in gnome 48 I had <super>e to launch nautilus, <super>w to launch firefox and <super>r to launch alacritty. The first two are available in gnome-settings>keyboard>keyboard-shortcuts>launchers (I use localized gnome, I'm not sure about the translation) The latter is defined in gnome-settings>keyboard>keyboard-shortcuts>custom shortcuts Those are the shortcuts I use the most, and even thouch I have other custom shortcuts, those are the only three that do not work.

I have no idea if everything is setup correctly, I have been using Gentoo for 20+ years, and it has always been setup and forget, guess I forgot a lot of stuff...

Anyhoo, if anyone has an idea to help me solve this, I would be forever grateful, feel free to ask question about services and pam and whatnot

Thanks in advance
