I just got a legion go 2 that I am using on bazzite and I am not really satisfied by the noise fan even with custom TDP & manual fan curse : I am wondering if replacing the default thermal paste will improve this situation.
I did that long time ago for Steam deck oled and it was really an improvement : better heat dissipation = less RPM for fan.
If not, is there any mod available to replace fans by another model more silent ?
For the fan curve on bazzite, you cannot control to reduce % fan under a specific level and sometimes you defined a fan level, you need to go back at HDD to apply again your setting…I have also the feeling that using fixed TDP will force the device on custom fan profile which didn’t have good fan curve compared to quiet/Balanced mode. (The good news is that it’s better at least than Windows)
I want a console expérience fan noise not a gaming laptop expérience 🤪
