Was in a local bookstore recently and found the fan book for OG Naruto. And what do you know… in it Kishimoto outright explains the themes he had in mind for the early parts of the series… Never once mentioned hard work beating talent... Which is crazy cus I’ve never seen an anime slandered more for “betraying its themes” than Naruto. These bad interpretations have plagued the discourse of this series FOR YEARS. Lol it’s kinda comical tho that there’s literal proof they’re wrong. So please share these pics as proof so this stupid narrative can finally die.
Craziest part is this book has been out since 2008 😭😭😭 Genuinely how did Naruto fans let this happen?!?
