How reasonable is my FIRE plan?
I am currently making 40k net living in EU age 28. I have a mortgage for another 18 years which is about 11k per year (135k left to pay, currently at 3,5% interest). I only spend about 600 euros monthly on bills and groceries and I am able to save about 1700, but more realistically 1500 every month. Assuming an annual growth of 8% -2% accounting for inflation I can assume I would have about 570k in an etf when my loan is paid off(in current evaluation). Even if I withdrew about 4% per year that would still be about 3x what I currently spend monthly. This fund wouldn't have to last eternally either since I have a mandatory pension scheme where 6% of my salary goes to pension fund which should be around 200k in 18 years but I can only access it fully when I reach retirement which will probably be age 69 or so. Accessing it earlier would mean having to pay 24% income tax and it is basically held in my chosen index fund. On top of that there is also the national pension which currently would be around 600 per month. This gets indexed every year. Does my math check out? Could I retire at 46?
