Sorry if this isn’t the space! I’m not looking to completely cut bottle, just looking for advice/insight.
My girl is 3 months and wakes once in the night to eat. It’s like clockwork every night at 12/12:30 but she does go until 2/3 sometimes. When she wakes at 12, she then wakes for the day at 5 am and we are stuck in a day of crap naps and overtired bedtime so of course we prefer the 2 am wake up.
My question is — do I try and push that midnight feed? Cutting it cold turkey is out of question as she’s hungry, but do I offer less each time and then more at the next bottle? Do I wait until we get through the regression that’s lurking? She wakes and is full on hungry at that feed so part of me feels I should just keep it, but at the same time she’s capable of sleeping longer (or maybe just weird flukes).
Again, she’s hungry and I am happy to feed her!! I’m aware she’s still young but my goal isn’t to cut the feed, just trying to get her a bit more sleep so she isn’t miserable in the day. Looking for insight on what others did if they were in this situation.
Thanks!!
