Hi redditors!

I’m new to Reddit and to mercor, so bear with me. I have received and instant offer from mercor that has a very high pay out per hour (I did not apply directly for this role).

The email says I will start with 5h/week and it’ll be upped to 40h once the project is officially approved (I find that fact very strange).

They sent me a contract that has nothing in it regarding hours and pay, the only info on that is on the offer page.

There is also no information on the company I’d be contracting for.

I find all of this very scammy but google tells me this is normal procedure at mercor.

Before I commit, I’d love to hear from others that have been in a similar situation and if this is legit or a scam.
