The variation seems to be limited to grey or beige tiles, glass or solid balcony walls, etc. There might be interesting shopping floor design at the base, but that's really it. Ordinary low rise mansions follow the same lack of design innovation, and what I've seen of more top-end places smoked glass is about the limit.

I'd have thought that Tokyo at least might have some posh stuff for speculators. Prove me wrong by showing me some interesting residential towers.

Your favourite LLM can navigate Japanese sites better than you, and it can answer in English and sometimes it even gets the answer right.

It's pretty useful for me, at least, and it will show you the referenced URLs for double checking.
