so i recently saw a new rule stating mandatory N2 for cybersecurity professionals, i have worked in the industry for 2 years and i am just 20 years old with my undergraduate degree finally completed (in cybersecurity aswell) I was eyeing a move to japan by the end of this year. I was planning on getting myself comfortable with the language preferably N3 and then move when i land a job but recently people have been saying N2 is a must, i thought the language aspect was for proper communication so as long as i could communicate it did not matter if I hold a certificate no ?, another option would be to apply for my masters in japan but I dont know if that would allow me to get a job in cyber or I will have to work in service again which might seem like a career break on my resume so i am not sure about that one either. I would love to hear from people working in cybersecurity in japan
