Hi everyone! I am on the search for a wedding band and have had so many different styles where I thought “oh yeah that’s the one!” but I am so indecisive!
I like the idea of the getting my wedding band from Etsy instead of a larger jewelry chain nearby but wanted to hear some experiences if you got yours from Etsy. If so, I’d love to hear about it and if you want to share the shop and a picture I’d especially love it! I’m curious about quality of the product and price point. I’m worried that some Etsy sellers won’t be selling real solid gold even if their description says so. I often look at the bad reviews to get a feel for worst case scenario but I feel like hearing from people first hand here would help me a lot. I found a band I really liked but then from reading the shop reviews one of them said the gold was “rubbing off” and the ring looked more silver in spots and I’m terrified of spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a gold ring that the color rubs off of - because that can’t be real gold then right?! So stressed about authenticity lol
My engagement ring (shown in the post) is a Pear Solitaire, dainty 18K solid yellow gold band and a hidden halo guard rail (I think that’s what it’s called??). The stone setting sits on the higher end which I am happy about so I can achieve a flush look if that’s the direction I want to go in.
