Who wants to test Yokan? <Relationship_DatingApp>
Hi (first post ever here 😅)
I am a Data Analysis student and I have a fascination with how data can help us build better relationships. For my graduation project, I am currently building an app for this: Yokan 🫶🏼.
Most dating apps stop as soon as you get a match. Yokan goes further. It is designed not only to match singles, but also to help couples strengthen their relationship.
How does it work? Based on the 5 Love Languages (Chapman), the app collects data on how you and your (future) partner give and receive love.
For Singles: No endless swiping. The app matches for you! Based on your Love Language (how you give/receive love), you receive daily (max 5) recommendations. The algorithm calculates the synergy between your profiles so that you are on the same wavelength from the very first date.
For Couples: You link your account to your partner. The app collects data on your needs and areas for growth. Instead of vague advice, Yokan provides a hard data analysis of your strengths. Where do you complement each other? Where is the "Translation Gap" (miscommunication)?
Next Steps: Based on that data, the app should further suggest a "Fusion Date": an activity specifically chosen to deepen your bond or resolve a bottleneck.
Why I need your help: I need real singles and couples willing to complete the quizzes and test the interface. Your feedback helps me fine-tune the algorithm so that the analyses really hold water for my thesis jury AND to continue improving the app;

🛠️ Beta: It is an early version, so a bug here or there is possible.
