Name this big girl

Help me name this beautiful 115lb Cane Corso gal we’re adopting.

She’s had a couple litters and I wanted to name her “mama” but that’s what my kids call me 🤣

I like funny names like Pickle and Chicken but she doesn’t feel like those names to me.

Our short list of names we’re liking:
Bug
Smalls
Tiny
Bean
Rockie

Kinda stuck tho — any others come to mind?? Appreciate the help!

Hi!

I had a total love-at-first-sight moment with a 2-year-old Cane Corso (available for adoption) at the park recently. After seeing her play so well with our sweet 9-year-old boxer, I wanted to learn more.

We set up a playdate at our house, and it honestly couldn’t have gone better. Both dogs are calm, gentle, and a bit submissive, and they played really nicely together. I have two young kids (1 and 5), and she was incredibly patient and gentle with them too. She honestly seems like a big couch potato—exactly the kind of energy that would fit our family.

We asked the foster parents what felt like 200 questions, and every answer gave us more peace of mind. We’re experienced dog owners, have a lot of love to give, and I work from home—so we feel like we could offer her a really great life.

That said… my husband is still a bit on the fence. We’re doing a trial walk on Tuesday and a 48-hour sleepover next weekend to see how things feel in real life.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with Cane Corsos, especially in a home with a senior dog set in her ways.
Does this sound like a good fit? Anything we should be watching for during the trial?
And… any words of encouragement (or honest reality checks) for bringing home a Corso?

Thanks so much in advance—we’re trying to make a thoughtful decision here 💛
