I've done a lot of research into my M6 tonight and found some good information on it and the company in general. There are a number of manufacturing issues for sure with that and Roombas in general. Will also post the proper, permanent fix for the 'refill tank' issue in future. Re irobot: "The company filed for bankruptcy in December 2025 and was acquired by Chinese manufacturer Shenzhen Picea Robotics (Picea), their primary designer for their new line of robots."...(Wikipedia). They are also looking at securities fraud allegations, so we, the retail consumers, would likely end up with what was left over - which would be likely be little but I'm still all for it. There is also a class action for wheels from 2022 - not sure if that was settled. The sell to the Chinese company was under court supervision, the Chinese company took the assets. Debts are prioritized: secured creditors, admin costs (lawyers fees etc), priority claimes (taxes/employee wages), unsecured creditors (suppliers, lawsuits, class actions), then the shareholders who have launched a lawsuit already.
