I've had an issue with using WLED via HomeAssistant since I discovered WLED. I have a number of WLED devices and many of them benefit from using WLED's segments feature. A perfect example is my kids' bunk beds. There is a COB strip that we use just above our heads for reading books at night. The LED has a warm white channel, so it's a perfect book reading light. I use a preset in WLED to set the color and make that part of the LED strip it's own section. If I leave it in 3 sections, the WLED effects don't wrap around the bed as there are 3 beginning and 3 ends for each effect. I use another preset to set the light strip back to "1 light" for all other times of the day. This makes automations and dashboards pretty unintuitive as there is always one or more that show "Unavailable" in HomeAssistant.
Anyone in my shoes with this frustration? Any suggestions?
