Helping my dad navigate his new benefits and trying to find vision insurance for seniors on medicare
Ssitting here with my dad going through all his paperwork and it is honestly heartbreaking how little support there is for basic things like seeing clearly. We realized pretty quickly that original medicare is leaving him completely on the hook for his eye exams and new glasses.
Tried looking at some of the "add-on" plans but the fine print is so confusing and the coverage seems almost non-existent for the frames he actually likes. wondering if anyone has gone through this with their own parents and found a plan that is actually worth the monthly premium?
