Hello, my child is in public school and I am looking for a curriculum for a struggling reader for over the summer. He just finished third grade, but is not on grade level.
My son’s first language is Mandarin. He was born internationally adopted at almost six years old. He’s fluent in English, but is really struggling to learn to read. He has ex/rec language disorder and a reading disorder.
He’s a curious and bright kid, but when he sees words on a page, he gets extremely overwhelmed.
Looking for curriculum recommendations. Can be Christian or secular, complete ELA curriculum or just something supplemental that worked for your child. Thank you!
