Would an Optiplex 3050 with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM have enough power? I want to use Proxmox. I’d also like to run a few Docker containers, such as Nextcloud, a password manager, and maybe one or two VMs. Should I connect the hard drives to a 4-bay USB enclosure, or is it better to connect them all via SATA? I’d like to set it up so that the operating system and the VMs are installed on a 512 GB SSD, and the Nextcloud data is stored on two HDDs. The two HDDs should also be mirrored.
