I was playing minecraft with my friend and the idea struck me: what if I wrote a crazy story, that plays inside this world we built? And here's how it looks like, at the halfway mark:
Our protagonist is an engineer, going far away on a cruise ship. This ship sinks right next to a country he never even knew about. He swims to the shore, with everyone else dying, and the locals tell him, there's a rebellion going on against a dictator. The story makes fun of politics, with the dictator saying lines like "Im XY, the dictator of the country, I mean the prime minister" and he gets away with it, and the so called opposition (that is there purily to say they cause every single problem) gets demolished in every type of media, just for breathing. Back to our main story... Mario, who claims to be a deserter from the state millitary, helps the protagonist, but through exposed lies and an old video, they find out, he still works for the state. After these events, he gets chased down by the protaginst, who by the way finds a good friend during this, Mario dies to the hands of Scorpion. A crazy guy, the new friend of the protagonist, he claims, that the mayor (of another city) bombed his house for saying bad things about him. He's enraged and his only life goal is to kill this mayor. (but his life gets empty after the revenge, realizing it was not even the mayors fault, and that his wife and kids still dont have a home and no food) So basically that is up to the point im at right now. They will now capture the capital, explore another country, then come back to capture another key city next to the capital and kill the dictator. This is it in short, but they are many aspects I did not explore here: the main character has a total of 8 dreams, appearing through the story, its a slow descent to madness, as his nerdy mind tries to comprehend the brutality of this country. Scorpion goes through the most development, there is also an alcoholist sniper... The entire thing is about showing how this dictatorship destroyed the people of the country. There is a legendary old leader, who was almost perfect, but the current ruler killed him and mocked him for everything, now the people worship him... I dont think I explained this the best way, but I think it should be fun to read other peoples opinions. I'm not writing in english, so don't judge upon my grammar here. Have a nice day!
