Viagogo and delayed Sumo tickets, any options?
So straight to the point. I ordered two tickets from Viagogo for the Grand Sumo Tournament in May. The delivery options allow you to add travel plans, great right? Nope, I had it setup that if the tickets were going to arrive on/after May 14th they would go to the hotel in Japan we were staying in. However, they sent them too late to my home and now it won't arrive until the 15th the same day we are flying. Viagogo won't do anything and I can't contact anyone delivering the tickets.
The day we had booked was May 18th. I'm considering reselling the tickets and buying new ones and making sure they send them to the hotel we'll be at. But they'll be worse seats for twice the cost.
Any advice? I'm guessing the tickets that were sent to us are unique so I'm not sure if that causes further issues in terms of you can't just get someone to scan them or take a picture of them.
